theDragPolar is optimized for internet explorer and a screen resolution of 1024x768 with 32bit color.
design
this design was again thought up and made during finals week. the main goal was to improve flow of content. so the site was broken down into three sections. the first and leftmost being a static menu, the second section is where the main content is displayed and the third and rightmost section being used for information about the corresponding content. each section falls underneath the white bars near the top of the page. the distance between the 3 bars are 2px, the distance between the bars and all text and graphics are 20px. a stylesheet is used to help with text formatting. the font used is arial size 11px, line height is 1.5 and the text is set to justify. the numbers at the bottom in the rightmost column signify the post number / section number. the first digit links to the top of the page and the second digit links to the bottom. there are currently 11 pictures that rotate as the banner. most of the them were taken / done by me. banners 01, 02, 04, 08 were created using photos by peter jensen with his permission.
